Pengaruh Sosial Demografi, Pengetahuan Keuangan, dan Sikap Keuangan terhadap Keputusan Investasi(Studi Pegawai Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan Republik Indonesia)
Abstract
Financial behavior is a field of study that examines how individuals understand and respond to available financial information and subsequently utilize it in making investment decisions while considering the inherent risks. This study aims to analyze the influence of socio-demographic factors, financial literacy, and financial attitude on the investment decisions of employees of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia. This research employs a quantitative approach using a questionnaire as the research instrument. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling involving 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results reveal several key findings. First, socio-demographic factors have a positive effect on investment decisions, contributing 78%. Among the socio-demographic indicators, income is the most dominant factor, followed by age and education level. Second, financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions, contributing 85%. Investment knowledge is the strongest indicator within the financial literacy variable. Third, financial attitude also has a positive effect on investment decisions, contributing 63%, with the cognitive aspect providing the greatest contribution compared to the behavioral and affective aspects
