Focus and Scope

JPPMI: Jurnal Pelayanan dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Indonesia is a scientific journal that publishes articles derived from community service activities, public service innovations, and community empowerment practices based on scientific knowledge and applied research. This journal aims to serve as a platform for disseminating knowledge, experiences, and models of community empowerment that contribute to improving the quality of life, independence, and sustainable well-being of Indonesian society.

The scope of articles that may be published in JPPMI includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  1. Community service in the fields of education, health, social affairs, economy, and the environment

  2. Community empowerment based on communities, local wisdom, and social inclusion

  3. Public and social services, including the improvement of community service quality

  4. Community economic empowerment, MSMEs, social entrepreneurship, and the creative economy

  5. Public health and community-based health promotion

  6. Community education and literacy, including digital literacy and financial literacy

  7. Appropriate technology and applied innovations for society

  8. Environmental management and community-based sustainable development

  9. Empowerment of vulnerable groups, such as women, children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities
